SV	Wederom schrijf ik u een nieuw gebod: hetgeen waarachtig is in Hem, zij ook in u [waarachtig]; want de duisternis gaat voorbij, en het waarachtige licht schijnt nu.

ASV	Again, a new commandment write I unto you, which thing is true in him and in you; because the darkness is passing away, and the true light already shineth.
BE	Again, I give you a new law, which is true in him and in you; for the night is near its end and the true light is even now shining out.

Darby	Again, I write a new commandment to you, which thing is true in him and in you, because the darkness is passing and the true light already shines.
ELB05	Wiederum schreibe ich euch ein neues Gebot, das was wahr ist in ihm und in euch, weil die Finsternis vergeht und das wahrhaftige Licht schon leuchtet.

Sch	Und doch schreibe ich euch ein neues Gebot, was wahr ist in Ihm und in euch; denn die Finsternis vergeht, und das wahre Licht scheint schon.
Web	Again, a new commandment I write to you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.
Weym	And yet I am giving you a new command, for such it really is, so far as both He and you are concerned: because the darkness is now passing away and the light, the true light, is already beginning to shine.
